I left the studio briefly to go to an event that was being held for a new friend of mine. Ashley V. Reid. Ashley is doing her thing on the Atlanta scene. The pictures of me that you see plastered all over the net, she did them. (YAY!!!)
You should definitely check out her website to see her work. She has an eye like no one that I've met as of late and I was pleasantly surprised when she asked me to be one of the people for her site.
Her site is www.ashleyreidphoto.com
She was celebrating her article in the source, which I must say, if you haven't seen it, you should definitely look at your latest copy of the source and read about what's really going on. They talk in depth about what she is doing and where she is going and I'm sure that she isn't going anywhere soon, so ya'll better get ready because the bar has just been raised; several degree's.I'm glad to have been apart of her project and I'm even more honored to know her as a person.

It was beautiful meeting you today.
He has a kindred spirit. One that I can agree with. He makes me smile just by speaking. He inspires my thoughts. Where did he go?
She has a beautiful smile a warm imagination and a good heart. Her colors are my colors and the way she paints reminds me of something I've seen. She motivates me. Where did she go?
It's moves are very instinctive, struggling to survive in a world that it doesn't fully comprehend. It's hungry so it hunts for food it can eat. The World is like a maze so it finds comfort in a small corner of the maze, only to venture out when necessary. It was right here but I don't see it now, where did it go?
They are you. You are I and I am as we are.
Love Yourself, Love Each Other.
We're All Relative.

Today is a beautiful day, tomorrow will be better.
This is my motto for 2010 and it's happening just like that.

They doing it again tonight as well if you are in the area, you should definitely come through. The panel that judges these acts are The Justice League and Kevin Shine along with a very dope writer, I guess I should post pics huh? lol
I'm working on a new project.. yall go to youtube and check out some music I put up, this is something that I'm working on for a mixtape that I'm putting out with DJ Kal Cutta as the host and DJ Razzah doing all the scratches and FingerRoll engineering it.
With three original cuts on the mixtape 1,2,3 produced by FingerRoll, Lone Star produced by DJ Razzah and one other cut ... not sure which one its going to be yet, I'll keep you posted. Leave ya comments.. I love the feedback.

Wow!!!
Where have I been? What have I seen? What's new? I abandoned this blog in 2006 it's 2010 and I'm baaaaaacccckkkk!! I don't know if anyone was even reading it but I do know that It's been a lonnnnggg time coming. So what am I into these days?
First thangs first, I no longer reside in NYC :( ... but I'm sure to be back up that way in a minute.
I'm currently in ATL"shawty" thats right the Black Hollywood. How do I like it so far? Well I mean its a place, like any other place. It has its perks and its not so perks. LOL
What am I doing? I'm working on a few things, music is definitely included in these things, grinding? "STAY ON MY GRIZZY CAN'T STOP ME, I BE BY MYSELF CAUSE NOBODY ELSE CAN TOP ME"
You know the mental grind is the grind that surpasses any other, its the mind that limits you to yourself, without seeing the possibilities, you're stuck in an endless chain of events that might not always deem in accordance to what you want to happen. I've been a few places, seen a couple of things, I've loved and have been loved. I've been hated on but love all the same.
This chic, my big sister.. (I refuse to say a name for I'd hate her to think I'm tryna use her to get on) I look up to says it best, It's either HOTEP or Hoe Step, I love the saying so much I've put it on my Facebook page, so if anyone ever really wants to know how I feel, thats where I'm at right now.
Hotep; for those that might not have a clue as to what it means, its a khemetic word that basically means PEACE. Khemet is the original name for Egypt it means the black land. I am Alkhemi or The Black One... see where this is leading now? It's all Relevant.
I'll be visiting this blog more often as I am progressively moving forward and would love to divulge stuff that might not otherwise be put out there, if I don't say it.
So sit back, pull up a chair, grab a cup of coffee or some tea, breathe deep and explore my thoughts "but buy my record first" HAHA

Ciao for Now

Does Fat Joe pay his people?

I mean I really just want to know what the science is with this one.
My peoples went to a basketball game last night.
Check out this slick shyt. He goes to this basketball game last night.. guess who happens to be there.. if your slow I'll help you out. Fat Joe and his body guard. OK now the person that is just mentioned in the above picture went to this basketball game and was chillin sittin next to Fat Joe body guard... now he looks around and for some reason his phone is missing.. he looking around for his phone for at least 15 min going crazy like; I know I just had my shyt!!! so then after like I said bout 15 min he notices Fat Joe body guard wit two phones both of which looks like his, one on the body guards hip the other in his hand. So he asks the dude like yo!! you seen my phone and the bodyguard was like "OH" this your phone? and hands him this phone. NOW you would think thats the end of the story but its not!!!

My peoples get home and puts the phone on the charger and notices that the black cover that covers the charger is on the phone..AH WHAT? he normally pulls the black cover off of the charger because he doesn't like them for some reason..okay then when he turns on the phone the screen is blue..which is also strange because he is use to seeing a yellow screen and the ringer is playing "I Was Getting some Head" by shawnna which is also strange because he doesn't have any specific ringers on his phone...what is also strange is the screen is all scratched up because his phone was Brand New!! whats sad about the whole thing besides the obvious that Fat Joe don't pay his people and that his body guard is grimy but whats really messed up is the phone didn't cost that much. Like $40 or something like that..why you gotta be so grimy over a damn phone that cost no more than $40? Whats also crazy is that the bodyguard changed the back of the phone and changed the antennae so that my peoples would think that it was his phone!!!

HOW RUDE!!!

Fat Joe get at your boy, man!! and PAY YOUR PEOPLE so they don't do shyt like that!

THATS EMBARRASING!!! LMAO

Dallas, TX
"Where I'm from the sun's in ya face and the Buses run the Metro
Cee the Hood its mis-understood like Electric, Jazz and Retro
Baby pump the bass and get live, let go baby, baby, let go
If you tired get some ginseng, get full like cars on petro."
Dallas, Texas
Where niggas from the southwest insist on being dirty south and wont take geographics as a reason to change the influence.
I agree with Bavu and the whole Up South concept.. thats my shyt I'm ridin with that one. Forget understanding a Dallas native we are far to complex for the average mind even in our most simplest forms, can't you tell by our names, Pookie, J-Love, Cee Cee, Cisco, to even simpler names like, Bavu, Aziz, Massive, Samax, Syntex,Shamyr, Kuray,Moon Cricket, hell even my name Alkhemi...LOL what is that? Forget love where I'm from, the only way to get that shyt is if you take it!! (I mean there are those that love you, but do they really love you?)
Dallas, the home of extremes... where people copy you just because they can't come with nothing on their own. Where a muthafucka hate yo ass for 10 yrs and on the 11th yr ya'll best friends. LOL Where the red necks (not white people) are scared of us but pretend like they aren't and white girls love to abort black babies.
Whats good about Dallas? besides the people that I mentioned earlier?
This picture is groovy, yeah Dallas skyline is awesome...the music is consistent and always getting better. 89.3 with EZ Eddie D, vegetarian food, barbecue sauce, some of the clubs, the streets aren't all fucked up like where I live now. It don't smell like, fish, piss and all the other bullshyt that you smell in NYC..lol
The men are better by far.. I mean there mental intelligent settling down type guys..they just aint got no money..the fellas in NYC got doe, cheap and prolly wont settle down until they about 40 or got a couple babies by the same chic. Then maybe after 10 yrs in the relationship they'll settle down with some girl that throws them for a loop and takes all they money cause she aint want his ol' ass anyways..lol JUST KIDDING I THINK!!???
Booker T. Washington Arts Magnet Highschool!! is a good look in Dallas, umm Reciprocity 210 and Tisha, N'dambi and Badu, Skins,Rueben, Headcrack, Silent, ummm well to all the others out there I didn't mention its toooo many of yall to mention, just know I love you all to.
Everything in Dallas aint bad, I mean my brother live down there. DFWHiphop is always a breathe of fresh air. The air is clean. ha ha ha in all its array of shyt and beauty I miss home...I guess its time to go home and run amuck!!
Ya'll B.E.Z
